lalorixá Mãe Ana de Xangô was born into the Brazilian Spiritual traditions of Umbanda and Candomblé. She is a clairvoyant, incorporation medium since the age of seven years old. She studied Umbanda formally with Mãe Baixinha and Caboclo Tupinambá for 33 years. She is now a member of the leadership council of the Tenda Espirita Mirim, one of the oldest centers of Umbanda in Brazil. She is a fardada of the Santo Daime for 30 years. She gives classes and workshops about spirituality sharing her rich life-long experience in the traditions of Umbanda and Candomblé together with her Master Guide Caboclo Caçador de Oxossi and her Preta Velha Vovó Catarina.
